Uso del Did


PREGUNTAS EN PASADO

Si quieres hacer preguntas sobre cosas que pasaron ayer,  antier o el año pasado usaremos “DID”
Ya que did es el auxiliar de Do pero en pasado y a diferencia del Do y Does, Did se usa para todos los pronombres.


Did + sujeto +verbo
  • Did your mother cook delicious?  /  ¿Tu mama cocina delicioso?

NEGACIONES EN PASADO

Sujeto + Didn´t + Verbo
  • I didn´t work /  No trabajé
  • I didn´t know  /  No sabía

COMO VERBO EN PASADO

  • I did exercise when I was Young  /  Hize ejercicio cuando era joven
  • I did my homework  /  Yo hize mi tarea

INTENSIFICADOR

El do y did solo se usa en oraciones positivas  para dar más dramatismo a la oración.
  • I do love pizza!  /  A mi me encanta la pizza!
  • I did eat my breakfast   / Yo si comí mi desayuno!


*Do, does y did Lo usamos como auxiliar cuando no tenemos verbo to be.
En Definitiva Did se usa para hacer preguntas y negaciones en pasado con todos los verbos menos to be.

Do por si mismo es un verbo que significa “Hacer” así mismo se usa como auxiliar para;

COMO VERBO EN PRESENTE

-I do exersice  /  Yo hago ejercicio
